1. General
By booking a treatment with Groundwork Sports Massage Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.
2. Services
We provide the following services:
Sports massage
Postural analysis
Mobility assessment
All treatments are tailored to individual needs. However, results vary and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
3. Payments & Cancellations
Payment Terms
Payment is accepted via cash, card, or through our online booking system.
Full payment or a deposit (where applicable) may be required to secure your appointment.
Deposits
Where a deposit is required, it is non-refundable.
Deposits are deducted from the total cost of the treatment.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit will be retained.
If more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit may be transferred to a future booking at our discretion but will not be refunded.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will be issued a voucher of equal value for the same service booked. No cash refunds will be provided.
Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be used for the original service booked.
Block Bookings
Block bookings are non-refundable once the first session has been used.
Therapist Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at any time due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, clients will be offered a rescheduled appointment or a full refund of any fees paid.
We also reserve the right to cancel an appointment if a client discloses a medical condition requiring medical clearance and appropriate written approval has not been obtained from a qualified healthcare professional.
A full refund will be issued in these circumstances unless the intake form was submitted less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, in which case no refund will be provided.
4. Client Responsibilities
Intake Form Requirements
All clients are required to complete an intake / health form prior to treatment.
If this has not been completed before arrival, it must be filled out during the scheduled appointment time, and treatment will only begin once it is complete.
Session time will not be extended to make up for time spent completing forms.
Health Disclosure
Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns before treatment begins.
Clients are responsible for following any aftercare advice given. Failure to do so may impact recovery and results.
We cannot be held responsible for outcomes if full disclosure of health information is not provided.
5. Liability
Treatments are carried out with due care and professionalism, but we cannot be held liable for injury, discomfort, or adverse effects that occur if clients:
Fail to disclose relevant health conditions, or
Do not follow professional advice.
6. Privacy & Data
We collect personal and health information for assessment and treatment purposes.
All client records are stored securely in compliance with UK GDPR.
Information is not shared with third parties unless legally required.
7. Age Policy
Treatments are only available to clients aged 18 and over.
8. Session Length & Lateness
Sessions will finish at the scheduled time, even if the client arrives late.
Late arrival may result in a shorter treatment, but the full session fee will still apply.
9. Changes to Terms
Groundwork Sports Massage Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
